Drinking beers on the terrace, talking music and gear for hours and hours with the Alpujarra mountains in the background, it was inevitable that bass player Nathan Drohm and guitarist Paul Sawyer got together for more than just talks and beers. Singer Liesbet van Geert was already part of the trio as well as drummer Finley McGregor but with Paul as a fourth member The Micronovas made their energetic sound and songs even more contagiously.

Their sound is a blend inspired by and influenced by the new wave, pop, and punk of the seventies and eighties.

They take to the stage with boundless energy and ingenuity, which is reflected in their original themes/melodies, rhythms, and lyrics.
